Happy Holidays to all you dear readers of Collaborative Curry! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones.

As for myself I had a wonderful Christmas eve and a peaceful Christmas day. Everybody was super excited about the snow! Though it was really cold, the sun was shining bright which encouraged us to get out for a hike in the mountains.

X;'mas day 2012

This recipe for the cookie is real easy. You can make it in half-hour flat, and reap all the compliments. In fact, this holiday season I have been super busy with work, kids and a party at home, and yet I managed to make enough cookies for friends and family. Hopefully that gives you enough encouragement to try it yourself.

Some other reasons I can think of to nudge you into trying these cookies are they have nuts, and it is eggless. So if you prefer cookies without eggs and love nuts, this one is for you. Go on then, put on your “baking apron” and make these for someone special.

This is the only mantra I chant before going to bed these days, "Lokah samastha Sukhino bhavanthu" which roughly translates to "May all the people in this world remain happy and peaceful". What else can one wish for amidst the recent happenings around the world!
